Matuba-gani, also known as snow crab, can be found off the nearby shores of the Sea of Japan. Since long ago, this area has been said to be blessed with an environment that is ideal for the growth of delicious crabs.
The miso (brown meat) of these crabs are known to have a richer and higher quality flavor than that of snow crabs caught in other areas.
A long time breakfast favorite is out “dashi-rolled omelet," made piping hot right in front of you. We also recommend the “morning curry”.

The sliding shoji screens, which are made using the traditional woodworking technique of "Kumiko" lattice, depicts the Otani River and rows of willow trees with their graceful curves, giving an instantly gorgeous impression of the entire guest room.

“Genbu-no-Yu” and “Maruyama-no-Yu” are gender segregated and alternate between men and women in the morning and evening. Please pay attention to which gender has been assigned to which bath before entering.
